Stepping Stones

Prevention Education

Stepping Stones offers programs for any age, environment, and budget. With most modules being customizable and free it makes preventing abuse and assault accessible to everyone. A catalog is available on their website to view all their programs.

Labyrinth

This program provides formerly incarcerated women with reintegration into life and the workplace. Stepping Stones helps mentor and place these women into jobs they are passionate about and find permanent work and living for them. They offer professional development training, apprenticeships, interview practice, resume building workshops, and more.

Mission/Values

Stepping Stones aims to eliminate racism, empower women, stand up for social justice, and help strengthen families and communities. These goals tie into their three fundamental values: Courage, Compassion, and Commitment.

Volunteer

There are so many ways to become involved as a volunteer with Stepping Stones. From community service to advocacy to group volunteer opportunities they have so many ways for volunteering to be accessible and encouraged. Medical/Legal Advocacy

Stepping Stones has employees and volunteers prepared to both legally and medically advocate for survivors. From handling no contact orders to accompanying survivors to hospitals and clinics to advocate on their behalf there is so much their employees can do to support you.

Sexual Assault Awareness Month

Stepping Stones holds several programs during National Sexual Assault Awareness Month in April. This year, their theme is "We Can Build Safe Spaces Online," something extremely applicable to the material in this production. From a recorded Clothesline Project to a Walk a Mile in Their Shoes event, there are so many events held for you to explore.
